Pepe Marti celebrated his country's World Cup win

Cupra Kiro’s Pepe Marti told Motorsport Week which member of Spain’s victorious World Cup team he most like to take for a hot lap, ahead of this weekend’s Formula E Tokyo E-Prix.

The Japanese capital plays host to the all-electric championship for the third time, but for the first time, will take place under the city’s glittering lights as a night race.

Such an event has boosted interest in the race and the championship, and has contributed to the city being given a spot on the calendar for a fourth season in a row, in what will be the first campaign of the upcoming Gen4 era.

Marti has excelled in his debut season with the American, Silverstone-based squad, with two podiums, taking him to a current haul of 58 points, 30 more than teammate Dan Ticktum.
