The team returns to the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa with fond memories. In their debut race in 2022 they competed with official factory support from Audi. The following year they fielded two Porsche 911 GT3 R cars and secured a strong second place in the Pro-Am class. The highlight, however, was their victory in the Pro-Am class in last year’s race.

Race schedule

This year’s edition of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa is scheduled from 25 to 28 June. The race will kick off with an atmospheric parade through Spa’s old town on the evening of 24 June. The starting grid will be decided in a four-part qualifying session on 25 June, followed by a Superpole session for the fastest 32 cars on Friday afternoon. The race commences on 27 June at 4.30pm.

Team manager Romina Schmidt expressed her excitement about participating in the Spa 24-hour race again. Despite short notice and intense planning, the team aims to fight for a top result, leveraging their strong quartet of drivers.

Drivers’ anticipation and strategy

Joel Sturm, Niccolò Schirò, Nicolò Rosi, and Reinhold Krahn all expressed their anticipation and strategies for the race. Sturm aims to repeat the team’s class victory from last year and achieve a strong overall finish. Schirò, excited about his first time behind the wheel of a Porsche, believes the team’s driver line-up is well balanced and capable of fighting for something big.

Rosi, making his racing debut in a Porsche, emphasised the importance of preparation, consistency, and attention to detail. Krahn, set to make his debut at the 24 Hours of Spa, aims to be competitive and contribute to the team’s performance, ultimately fighting for a podium finish.

Spectators and live streaming

The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa is expected to attract more than 100,000 spectators around the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. For fans unable to attend in person, the entire race will be livestreamed — details of where to watch can be found here. The SRO will provide free livestreams in several languages, including German and English, from qualifying onwards.

Car Collection Motorsport head into the world’s biggest GT3 race with a strong driver line-up and a history of impressive performances at this venue. Their preparation, strategy, and determination make them a team to watch in the upcoming CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
