Nicolo Bulega continued his phenomenal unbeaten streak in WorldSBK after claiming Race 1 victory in Aragon.
Bulega led every lap en route to his 20th successive victory in the championship as he remained invincible in the 2026 season so far.
Polesitter Bulega came under pressure on the start after Iker Lecuona got a good launch from the middle of the front row, but the Italian held his line on the outside to maintain the lead.
After getting good starts, the two Ducatis were easily able to breakaway at the front, and although Bulega looked comfortable in the lead, Lecuona kept his team-mate honest in the early stages.
However, the confidence Bulega had in his Panigale machinery allowed him to pull away at the mid-point in the race, and he was able to ride comfortably to victory.
Eventually, the championship leader crossed the line to seal his win, with a margin of 1.274s over Lecuona in second place.
In the battle for the final spot on the podium, Sam Lowes bogged down and struggled to get away on the start, as he surrendered third to his brother Alex Lowes at the first corner.
However, the MarcVDS rider was able to recover after his difficult launch and retook third from the Bimota.
Alex Lowes began to struggle just five laps into the race despite his strong start, and was pressured by Tommy Bridewell, who gained two places in the early laps to get into fifth.
The MarcVDS rider pulled away from the pair, with Sam Lowes confirming the final spot on the podium in another all-Ducati lock out.
Alex Lowes pulled away to take fourth, while Bridewell outdragged Lorenzo Baldassari to the line to take fifth in the closing stages.
Yari Montella crossed the line in seventh ahead of Axel Bassani in eighth and Garrett Gerloff in ninth.
Tarran Mackenzie battled with the factory Yamahas in the early stages of the race before Andrea Locatelli’s retirement, with the British rider taking 10th at the flag.
Michael van der Mark finished 11th as he continued to replace Miguel Oliveira as the Portuguese rider recovered from injury.
There was a fantastic battle for 12th in the late stages of the race with Stefano Manzi emerging on top, while Somkiat Chantra charged through in the final laps to claim 13th.
Xavi Vierge was 14th over the line, who claimed the position by 0.025s over Alberto Surra, with the young Italian settling for the final points position in 15th.
