Nicolo Bulega extended his WorldSBK Superpole streak to five consecutive rounds after setting the new lap record in Most.
The Italian found half a second on the previous record as he lapped a stunning 1.29.616s, becoming one of two riders to enter the 1.29s barrier.
Barni Spark Racing’s Yari Montella finished the session in second place, with factory Ducati’s Iker Lecuona locking out an all-Ducati front row.
Ducati’s dominance continued further as Marc VDS and Motocorsa riders Sam Lowes and Alberto Surra claimed fourth and fifth.
Garrett Gerloff stopped further Panigale dominance to qualify sixth, ahead of Bimota’s Axel Bassani and GoEleven’s Lorenzo Baldassarri.
Danilo Petrucci claimed ninth place on the BMW, followed by rookie Stefano Manzi, factory Yamaha’s Xavi Vierge and temporary team-mate Michael van der Mark.
Tarran Mackenzie qualified 13th for MGM Ducati, ahead of Andrea Locatelli, followed by Alex Lowes after crashing earlier in the session.
Tommy Bridewell wrapped up his session in 16th, followed by Bahattin Sofuoglu, Remy Gardner and Mattia Rato.
Honda’s poor run of form continued as Somkiat Chantra and Yuki Kunii qualified in the final two positions.
