Sunday was race day for the NTT IndyCar Series as it completed the first road course round of the season at Barber Motorsports Park.

Alex Palou returned to his unbeatable form this weekend, leading 79 of the 90 laps and taking his second victory of the young 2026 season.

Christian Lundgaard was the only driver that had a chance to fight for the win, but a late pit stop error cost the Danish driver dearly. He crossed the line in second place.

Graham Rahal finished third, completing a solid race and earning his first podium since late in the 2023 season.

There were no caution periods, with only a brief local yellow for a spin by Rinus VeeKay interrupting the action. After completing a half spin, the Dutchman continued on his way without assistance.

After a busy month to start the year, drivers now have a couple weeks off before reconvening for the Grand Prix of Long Beach.
