Tarran Mackenzie has confirmed he will continue his partnership with the MGM Racing team for the 2026 WorldSBK season.

Mackenzie joined the MGM Bonovo Ducati team at the Balaton Park round of the championship, filling in for Scott Redding who left the team to return to the British Superbike paddock, which eventually became permanent.

The move allowed Mackenzie a return to WorldSBK after his partnership with the MIE Petronas Honda team ended after the Misano round in June.

Upon his return to the championship, Mackenzie continued to improve in each round with his best performances coming in Jerez – where he earned three top-10 finishes and a career best of seventh.

Now, Mackenzie and the team have committed to extending their partnership into the 2026 campaign as the Scottish rider signs a one-year deal.

“I’m so happy to be continuing with MGM Racing for 2026,” Mackenzie said via WorldSBK.com.

“Joining Michael [Galinski, MGM Team Owner] and his team in Hungary was a real pleasure and brought that enjoyment back into my racing that I had lost, as well as confidence.

“By the end of the season, I really started to feel like my old self again.

“From having no ride to then achieving my best results in WSBK was something I couldn’t have imagined, and to end the year like we did in Jerez was the perfect way to go into the off-season.

“My journey in WSBK so far hasn’t been an easy one, but I really feel like I’ve found my home with this team, and I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.“
