Norman Nato went quickest in the first session of day three of the Formula E pre-season test at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

The Frenchman’s 1:21.502s put him at the top of the timesheets, in what has been a somewhat difficult week for the Nissan squad.

It was promising for the ever-revitalised Mahindra squad, with Nyck dr Vries and Edo Mortara second and third respectively, both within two tenths of Nato.

Jake Dennis was fourth, followed by Dan Ticktum and Mitch Evans. Felipe Drugovich, making his full FE debut this season, was seventh, followed by Nico Mueller and Taylor Barnard.
