Toprak Razgatlioglu completed his second WorldSBK hat-trick of 2025 by taking a dominant Race 2 victory at Misano.
The two-time World Champion sealed the treble in style by winning Race 2 by over 10 seconds ahead of championship rival Nicolo Bulega.
Razgatlioglu made the best start from pole position and held the lead going down into Turn 1 ahead of Andrea Locatelli.
The Turkish rider knew he had to make a good start to take the advantage over Bulega, who would have to charge through the field if he was to maintain his championship advantage.
Bulega did make a fast start from 10th on the grid, with the Italian finding himself in sixth behind team-mate Alvaro Bautista by the end of the opening lap.
The Italian spent two laps behind the Spanish rider before Bautista was forced to relinquish the position.
After passing Bautista, Bulega immediately found himself on the back of Danilo Petrucci and Alex Lowes, who had been fighting for the final spot on the podium.
The championship leader then breezed past Locatelli to move into second, as he attempted to close the five-second gap Razgatlioglu opened up out front.
Bautista attempted to follow the progress of his team-mate as he found his way through on Lowes, before making contact with Petrucci as he took fourth.
The Spanish rider then managed to pass Locatelli to complete the podium positions, with the battles for position coming further down the order as the race progressed.
Jonathan Rea had been running in ninth place and pressuring MarcVDS’ Sam Lowes, but crashed heavily and found himself out of the race.
The order amongst the front runners held firm until Superpole podium finisher Lowes crashed out of sixth for Bimota.
The battle towards the end of the race was for eighth place, as Garrett Gerloff and Xavi Vierge scrapped, which brought Andrea Iannone into contention despite starting from the back of the grid.
Slight contact between the American and the Spaniard saw Iannone take the pair, with Vierge finally managing to pass Gerloff a few corners later.
Gerloff recovered from a few errors to retake the riders ahead with three laps to go, as the battle for the last places in the top 10 continued onto the final laps.
However, Iannone’s progress from last on the grid would go no further as he crashed out at Turn 3 on the penultimate lap.
Razgatlioglu crossed the line to confirm his dominance of the Misano weekend, finishing 10 seconds clear of title rival Bulega.
The factory Ducati riders completed the podium, with Bulega in second and Bautista taking third.
Locatelli ended a strong weekend in fourth, while Petrucci managed to fend off a charging Iker Lecuona for fifth.
Lowes settled for seventh as Gerloff prevailed in the battle for eighth, as Vierge took the flag in ninth.
Michael van der Mark rounded out the top 10 ahead of Ryan Vickers, who recorded a career-best finish in 11th.
Axel Bassani was 12th after serving a double long lap penalty due to the collision with Bulega in the Superpole race.
Bahattin Sofuoglu completed the race in 13th, while Bimota’s Lowes rejoined the race and earned 14th.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi sealed the final points position as he took the flag in 15th.
