The Iron Dames team has unveiled a special livery for their seventh consecutive start at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans on 14-15 June.

Their all-female crew, Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Celia Martin, compete together at the wheel of the #85 Porsche 911 LMGT3.R in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Le Mans next week, as the fourth WEC round this year, marks another significant start with the Iron Dames reverting to Porsche machinery – albeit of the LMGT3 formula, not the pre-existing LMGTE.

Sarah Bovy joined Gatting and Frey last year in their Lamborghini Huracan LMGT3 EVO2 and finished in fifth position, almost matching the previous year’s fourth position attained in a Porsche 911 RSR-19 (LMGTE-Am).

Celia Martin awaits her Le Mans 24 Hours race debut, having competed in the Le Mans Cup ‘Road to Le Mans’ support package last year.

“Racing my first 24H of Le Mans is a dream come true, and doing it with the ‘Powering Your Dreams’ livery makes it even more special,” she said.

“Together with Iron Dames, Porsche, Manthey and TotalEnergies, we’re sending a message that goes beyond racing: Ambition, inclusion, and determination — we’re proving that motorsport can be a force for change, empowering the next generation to chase their dreams, on and off track.

“And I am proud to share this adventure with my two experienced team-mates, Michelle and Rahel.”

Le Mans “always special” for Gatting

Gatting added: “Being back in Le Mans is always special, being back for the 7th time as an Iron Dame and a Porsche driver is even more special.

“I’m very excited for this particular 24h of Le Mans coming up, as we are announcing a new strong partnership with TotalEnergies, but also because we are racing with the team that dominated 24h of Le Mans last year.

“Obviously, we know the task won’t be easy, it never is, and therefore we have to be extra strong, work extra hard to achieve a good result.”

“I’m really looking forward to the 24 Hours of Le Mans – my favourite race of the year,” concluded Frey.

“Being back with Porsche, where we achieved our best result so far, and now joining the championship-defending team in partnership with TotalEnergies makes this event even more special.

“It’s another milestone for the Iron Dames project and a testament to how far we’ve come.”
