Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly have joined Meyer Shank Racing amongst their confirmed lineup for the 2025 IMSA SportsCar Championship.

After missing the 2024 IMSA season, Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) has confirmed their full-season driver lineup for 2025.

As Cadillac have confirmed Wayne Taylor Racing as their partner for 2025, MSR will run the sole two Acura ARX-06 GTP entries.

Van der Zande won his third Petit Le Mans victory only a few days prior at the 27th running with Chip Ganassi Racing.

Having driven Cadillac machinery in IMSA since 2018, the Dutchman will be one of two new drivers at MSR’s Acura effort.

Additionally, Yelloly concluded a significant relationship with BMW M Motorsport which began in 2018.

He will co-drive the #60 with van der Zande as familiar names Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun are enlisted in the #93 car.

“I’m super excited to be joining a new team and a new brand,” said van der Zande.

“I want to thank Mike Shank, Jim Meyer and everyone at HRC for giving me this opportunity, but I also have to thank Cadillac for everything they have done for me the last seven years.

“Cadillac and Chip Ganassi Racing have become my racing family.

“Although it’s hard for me to leave, it’s time for a new chapter that I am really looking forward to.

“I’ve been racing against Acura for the last seven years and they’ve always been a fierce competitor.

“I’m excited to now be on their side and tap into their resources and see what we can do behind the wheel together next season.”

A new IMSA chapter for Yelloly

Yelloly added: “I’m really excited to be joining the Acura MSR/HRC project.

“From watching in the paddock, the cars have been very competitive, so I am looking forward to see what that is like.

“MSR is naturally a great racing team. I was able to see how competitive they were when I competed against them in 2023.

“And it’s awesome to see them taking big leaps and strides on the IndyCar side as well.”

At the 27th running of Petit Le Mans, Gradient Racing fielded their Acura NSX for the final time before they will switch to a Ford Mustang next year.

As a result, the MSR GTP entries will be the only representatives in IMSA 2025 competition of the Acura manufacturer.

Van der Zande has established a wealth of experience and IMSA success whilst Yelloly has one win to his name from last year’s Six Hours of the Glen.

After being penalised at the 2023 Daytona 24 Hours and their 2024 absence, MSR will mark their return to IMSA in 2025.

Each car will have two more drivers yet to be announced: An Endurance Cup driver and a fourth pilot for the Daytona season-opener.
