Abbi Pulling stormed to victory in the first of two races in Round 5 in Singapore, leading the F1 Academy grid from start to finish.

The Alpine Junior Driver claimed another win to extend her championship lead, ahead of Doriane Pin who failed to close the gap to the Brit.

Maya Weug secured the second slot on the podium with a great performance while Pin retained the last podium spot after a time penalty for a false start.

An aborted start caused by Bianca Bustamante saw the grid re-circle the track for an extra formation lap, reducing the action to 11 laps.

Bustamante was noted for an infringement on the starting procedure, after returning to her qualifying spot on the second formation lap rather than the pitlane.

Pulling got off to a brilliant start from pole position, launching her Rodin car off the line to lead Weug and Pin heading into Turn 1.

A perfect start for Pulling saw her lead the pack on the first lap while Pin searched for a way around the Ferrari-sponsored driver Weug.

The Wild Card driver for Singapore, Ella Lloyd, has climbed up to sixth on the first lap while Lia Block retained her fourth position on the opening lap.

Lloyd began to put extreme pressure on Chloe Chambers running in fifth, hunting the American driver down to climb up the ladder.

Bustamante picked up a 10-second stop-and-go penalty for the infringement on the starting procedure, heading into the pitlane on Lap 3.

The McLaren-nominated driver fell to last place after the penalty, following behind Emely De Heus in an attempt to regain positions.

Meanwhile, Pulling leads the pack heading into Lap 4 but has yet to pull away from Weug or Pin as they linger closely behind.

The championship leader set the fastest lap, managing to slip away from Weug as she led the Dutch driver by 1.1s.

A fierce battle for seventh ensued behind as Hamda Al Qubaisi was forced to defend Nerea Marti’s move around Turn 6.

A brief yellow flag saw De Heus spin on Turn 1 of Lap 6 after attempting to dive down the inside of Aurelia Nobels for 14th place.

De Heus regained her position on track in 15th place and the race resumed in normal conditions shortly after.

Many drivers were noted for starting infringements, including Pin for a false start which could drop her down to fifth place.

Hoping to capitalise on the situation, Block began to pick up the pace to cut the gap down to Pin running in third place.

At the front of the pack, Pulling leads Weug by 2.1s as she continues her so-far perfect form in Singapore.

The Iron Dame picked up a five-second penalty for the false start alongside the Wild Card driver Lloyd, Pin’s second false start in F1 Academy.

By Lap 9, Pin was only 4.2s ahead of Block running closely behind but this was enough to retain her podium position behind Pulling and Weug.

Pulling went on to claim another victory in F1 Academy, ahead of Weug who has stood alongside Pulling on the podium multiple times in the series.

Pin retained her position on the podium after pulling 5.2s away from Block who finished in her best position yet of fourth.

Chambers found herself in fifth after defending from Hamda Al Qubaisi, who finished ahead of Marti in seventh.

Sauber driver Carrie Shreiner finished in eighth place ahead of Wild Card driver Lloyd who dropped to ninth after the time penalty for a false start.

Tina Hausmann rounded off the points-scoring positions while Bustamante finished last after failing to climb back up the grid after her stop-and-go penalty.
