Dale Coyne Racing has confirmed that Katherine Legge will race for the team for the upcoming season finale at Nashville Superspeedway.

Legge, IndyCar’s only current female driver, has raced with DCR for all the oval races so far this season.

The driver for each event has been officially been announced as the weekend approaches, but Legge made it known earlier in the year that she expected to be in the #51 machine for the remainder of 2024’s oval races.

“I’m grateful to Dale for letting me drive the oval races this season,” said Legge. “I can’t wait to close out the season at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend.

“We have some good momentum going after our doubleheader in Milwaukee so hopefully we can keep it up and put together another strong weekend for the team.”

Legge’s best result of the season came at The Milwaukee Mile when she finished 15th in the second race of the weekend.

The finale from Nashville Superspeedway takes place this weekend, and is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM eastern time on Sunday, September 15.

Legge will sport the e.l.f. Cosmetics livery that she has run throughout the year, and will drive alongside Jack Harvey in the team’s #18 entry.
