Sunday’s race in Portland was not the most exciting event of the season, but it still served to tighten the points battle with just three races remaining on the schedule.

Will Power took the lead from Santino Ferrucci in the first corner of the race, and never gave it back. The only laps he did not lead were due to pit stop cycles, and he all but cruised to his third victory of the season.

The current points leader Alex Palou finished in second, with his lead being trimmed to 54 points, exactly one race’s worth, as the season begins to wind down

Scott Dixon was the day’s only retirement, with a crash on the first lap putting a swift end to his day and bringing out the only caution period of the afternoon.

There is no chance for drivers and teams to rest, as next weekend holds a double-header at The Milwaukee Mile.
