Less than 18 hours after the first race of the IndyCar double-header, drivers headed back out onto the short Iowa Speedway oval to contest a second 250-lap race.

Will Power pulled off the most improbable victory imaginable, with a fortuitous set of pit stops boosting him all the way from 22nd up to the lead with 40 laps remaining. He held on to claim his first ever win at Iowa Speedway.

Alex Palou and Scott McLaughlin wrapped up the podium, and all three drivers now sit in the top five in the points standings.

The final lap saw a wild accident, with Sting Ray Robb getting launched over Alexander Rossi and tumbling down the track. He was awake and alert, but was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Drivers and teams will have another race next weekend on the streets of Toronto, making a total of four full races run over three weeks.
