Cadillac Racing has confirmed a two-driver lineup for the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Imola on 21 April, which will feature a 37-car grid.

The provisional entry list for the third round of the 2024 WEC reveals 37 participating cars for the Imola race.

For the first time since 2014, when championship-winning duo Anthony Davidson and Sebastien Buemi competed in the final four rounds together, there will be a two-driver lineup in the top category of the WEC.

In the #2 Cadillac V-Series.R, Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn will take on the six-hour race without the assistance of Sebastien Bourdais.

Furthermore, Cadillac were recently disqualified from the 1812 km Qatar season-opener for a technical infringement.

The rest of the entry list remains the same from Qatar with 19 Hypercars and 18 LMGT3s.

Peugeot are set to debut their 2024 car which features significantly updated aerodynamics, having not done so in Qatar.

Porsche Penske secured their maiden WEC win in Qatar as Peugeot suffered a heartbreak after a fuel pump issue led to the #93 running out of fuel in the final minutes of the near-10-hour race, which ended their podium pursuit.

Nine manufacturers will represent each category with the #92 Manthey PureRxing Porsche 911 GT3.R in the lead of the LMGT3 standings, after they won in Qatar.

Second and third places are held by the two Aston Martin AMR Vantage competitors from Heart of Racing and D’station Racing, owing to a double podium finish for the British manufacturer.
