Kamui Kobayashi set the fastest time in a topsy-turvy, wet0but-driving final free practice session before qualifying for Saturday’s FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa.

The #7 Toyota GR010 driver set a 2:08.702, as one of the last cars across the line on a trying Spa-Francorchamps track surface.

This was just over seven tenths quicker than Earl Bamber in the #2 Cadillac V-Series.R, who had crossed the seconds before.

In third was the fastest of the LMP2s, Ferdinand Habsburg in the #31 WRT Oreca 07-Gibson, with a 2:10.268.

The third fastest Hypercar was the new customer Porsche from JOTA, with the #38 Porsche 963 setting a 2:10.434 in the hands of Will Stevens.

Second in LMP2 and fifth overall was the #10 Vector Sport Oreca 07-Gibson of Gabriel Aubry, almost a second off Habsburg.

The #8 Toyota was sixth with Ryo Hirawaka on driving duty, with Sebastien Bourdais seventh in the #3 Cadillac, while Filipe Albuquerque went third in LMP2 and eighth overall in the #22 United Autosports Oreca 07-Gibson.

In ninth was the fastest of the Ferraris, Antonio Fuoco behind the wheel of the #50 Ferrari 499P.

Rounding out the top 10 overall was Joshua Pierson in the #23 United Autosports Oreca 07-Gibson.

In GTE-Am, Matteo Cressoni, onboard the #60 Iron Lynx Porsche 911 RSR-19 was fastest with a time of 2:25.726. Casper Stevenson was second in the #777 D’Station Aston Martin Vantage AMR, while Alessio Rovera was third in the #83 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.
