Pascal Wehrlein ended FP2 from the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez as the fastest driver, setting a 1:13.496 ahead of qualfiying.
The Porsche driver was only marginally faster than DS Penske’s Jean-Eric Vergne, whose time was almost identical to Wehrlein’s.
Jake Dennis set the fastest lap of the session late on, however his effort was eliminated due to a track limits violation.
Sergio Sette Camara, Mitch Evans and Stoffel Vandoorne rounded out the top five drivers.
