Boschung unveils crypto-sponsored F2 livery for 2022

Ralph Boschung has unveiled his race livery for the 2022 Formula 2 season, which has been designed following a sponsorship deal with content creator Carl Runefelt.

Runefelt, who is also known as ‘The Moon’, specialises in cryptocurrency and has over half a million subscribers on YouTube.

The Swede is personally sponsoring Boschung’s entry with Campos Racing this year, with his face appearing in front of the car’s Halo.

The deal also sees the livery promote the digital currency Bitcoin, with eight of its logos featuring on the car, as well as several NFTs.

“I’m personally sponsoring a Formula 2 car this year with Ralph Boschung driving,” Runefelt said.

“I put my face on the car, this has never been done before. I also put eight Bitcoin logos on it, promoting Bitcoin this year in front of millions! This season will be absolutely epic, and I’d like to thank Formula 2 and Ralph for this amazing partnership that will bring mass awareness to Bitcoin & crypto.”

Also featured on the car is a QR code, which will give people the option to donate money to a charity for disabled children.

“Most importantly, Formula 2 is also giving me a platform that is near and dear to my heart, helping children with disabilities.

“My little brother was born disabled. I put a QR code on the car to raise money for disabled children. I will utilize every race to not only spread the word about crypto, but also I’ll raise money for charity for different foundations that help children with disabilities!

“Bringing these two worlds together, I know I can help the world a little bit. I 100% believe in Ralph, as we are very good friends with similar mindset.

“I think this partnership this season will be very spectacular on many levels. Putting my face and my $1 million Crypto Punk NFT on the car is something nobody has done before.”

Boschung is entering his fifth season in F2 this year, which will also be his third with Campos.

The Swiss driver achieved his maiden podium in the category last year, scoring two third place finishes in Jeddah and Abu Dhabi.
