Laszlo Toth will remain in FIA Formula 3 in 2022 after penning a deal to compete for Charouz Racing System.
Toth entered six of last year’s seven events with Campos but failed to score a point.
The Hungarian will nonetheless return for a second campaign and do so with Charouz.
“I’m very happy to start working together with this team,” said Tóth. “Last week I was already in Prague, met the team members and started preparations with the sim.
“The circumstances are very good and there is a high potential in the team so I hope that we will have a successful season”
Toth is Charouz’s first signing for this year’s Formula 3 championship.
“We’re very happy to welcome László to Charouz Racing System, he’s a young and promising driver who’s already covered a notable mileage at the wheel of Formula 4 and Formula 3 cars in the past few years and I’m confident that his experience will be helpful for all of us all along next season,” said team owner Antonin Charouz.
“I’m sure it will be no problem for him to find the best way to work together with the team and get up to speed straight away from the first test sessions.”
