A late flyer from Mazda’s Harry Tincknell put the #55 RT24-P at the top of the charts in the second practice session for Motul Petit Le Mans.

Tincknell posted a 01:09:356 ahead of what will be Mazda’s final race in the championship. The Briton was 0.044s faster than the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR of Felipe Nasr.

Sebastien Bourdais was third in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kevin Magnussen. The #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura of Dane Cameron rounded out the top five.

The session was red flagged a total of three times, most notably for a significant crash involving the #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Jan Heylen and John Farano’s #8 Tower Motorsport ORECA 07-Gibson.
