Felipe Nasr has set the quickest time in practice for Motul Petit Le Mans.

The Brazilian posted a 01:09:508 aboard the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR. Nasr and Pipo Derani are firmly in the title hunt, with Saturday’s ten-hour race set to decide the championship battle.

Renger van der Zande was second quickest in the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac, 0.250s down on Nasr. The top three was rounded out by Meyer Shank Racing’s Dane Cameron.

Recently crowned World Champion Kamui Kobayashi was fourth for Ally Cadillac Racing. Kobayashi is one of a number of drivers who have travelled to Georgia following last weekend’s WEC title decider in Bahrain.
