The #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid has fallen off the lead lap after suffering problems at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with six hours of racing remaining.

The car, with Buemi behind the wheel, briefly came to a halt on the exit of Mulsanne corner but got going again.

The stoppage came after Toyota had been reporting that the car was struggling with an issue where the car is unable to use its full fuel tank during a stint.

Buemi’s team-mate, Kamui Kobayashi, is still leading in the #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid, with a Andre Negrao in third place in the #36 Alpine A480-Gibson.

Negrao had been involved in a battle for third overall with the #708 Glickenhaus 007 LMH of Olivier Pla. Negrao had initially taken third away from Pla at the Ford Chicane before Pla took it back on the following lap at Indianapolis.

The Alpine has now made it back ahead, with Pla in fourth overall.

Team WRT continues to lead one-two in LMP2, with Charles Milesi’s #31 ORECA 07-Gibson currently leading the #41 sister car driven by Yifei Ye.

Third place is held by the #28 JOTA ORECA of Tom Blomqvist, who has demoted the #65 Panis Racing ORECA of James Allen to fourth.

AF Corse continues to lead the way with Come Ledogar out front in the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, with the #63 Corvette C8.R of Jordan Taylor second and Michael Christensen third in the #92 Porsche 911 RSR-19.

The #52 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo has suffered further delays after its earlier suspension failure with a significant front-right puncture for Sam Bird, with the car now back in the garage.

Nicklas Nielsen leads GTE AM in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo with Dylan Pereira second in the #33 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage AMR.
