#7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid leads Le Mans with Jose Maria Lopez with 10 hours to go, but not without drama for Toyota. Before Lopez climbed aboard the car, Kobayashi had to take to the escape road at the Indianapolis corner after finding a long brake pedal when he tried to slow down for the corner.

He soon returned to the track, but lost around 30 seconds in the incident.

Lopez’s teammate Brendon Hartley sits second in the #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid, while Mathieu Vaxiviere is third in the #36 Alpine A480.

Team WRT continue their long-held lead in LMP2, with Ferdinand Habsburg in #31 Team WRT ORECA 07-Gibson leading Louis Deletraz in the sister #41 Team WRT ORECA 07-Gibson.

However, third in LMP2 has changed hands, after the #22 United Autosports ORECA 07-Gibson has been in the pits for a suspected alternator change, now down over 12 laps on the leading WRT car. So, third in class is now #65 Panis Racing ORECA 07-Gibson of Julien Canal, a lap down on the WRT.

Ferrari lead in GTE-Pro, with Côme Ledogar sitting first in the #51 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. Second is Nicky Catsburg’s #63 Corvette C8.R, while Neel Jani in the #92 Porsche 911 RSR rounds out the top 3.

Finally, in GTE-Am Alessio Rovera leads in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, with Ben Keating in the #33 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage in second and #80 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GTE Evo’s Callum Ilott in third.
