Kelvin van der Linde has secured pole position for the Saturday DTM race at Zolder.

The South African driver took the top spot in qualifying with a late flying lap in his Team Abt Sportsline Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo, snatching away pole with a time of 01:27:054.

Van der Linde outqualified Team HRT’s Maximilian Götz by just 0.021s, with the Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 of Marco Wittmann in third place.

Alex Albon took fourth in the AlphaTauri AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo, with the second Team HRT Mercedes driven by Vincent Abril rounding out the top five less than two-tenths of a second off pole position.
