Lawson fastest in F2 qualifying, Shwartzman on reverse-grid pole for Sprint Race 1 in Baku

Red Bull Junior driver Liam Lawson has qualfied on pole position for the FIA Formula 2 Feature Race on Sunday in Baku.

The Kiwi was over a tenth faster than Hitech team-mate Juri Vips who was second.

Alpine Academy driver Oscar Piastri ended up third in the session in front of Theo Pourchaire, Dan Ticktum and Marcus Armstrong.

With the top ten reversed for Sprint Race 1 on Saturday, Robert Shwartzman will start from pole position ahead of Jehan Daruvala, with championship-leader Guanyu Zhou third and Ralph Boschung fourth.
