Le Mans – Hour 2: Ferrari moves into GTE Pro lead

Two hours down in the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans and Toyota continues to lead overall while AF Corse has moved itself into the lead in GTE Pro.

Sebastien Buemi leads overall in the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid although he is running off sequence following an early puncture, with Mike Conway second in the #7 Toyota but likely to retake the lead when Buemi pits.

Bruno Senna still holds third in the #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson with Nat Berthon fourth in the #3 Rebellion despite a tail change. Tom Dillmann is fifth in the #4 ByKolles ENSO CLM P1/01-Gibson.

The battle for the lead in LMP2 has seen an unexpected lead change as a strong stint from James Allen has put the #39 SO24-Has by Graff ORECA 07-Gibson into the lead. The #38 JOTA Sport ORECA 07-Gibson has moved into second in the hands of Antonio Felix da Costa.

The polesitting #22 United Autosports ORECA 07-Gibson has dropped to fourth in the hands of Phil Hanson, with Job van Uitert now completing the top three in the #32 United Autosports ORECA 07-Gibson.

The #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA in the hands of Will Stevens is running off sequence and has cycled into the lead on several occasions, but is currently running eighth.

Ferrari has moved itself into the lead of GTE Pro as Miguel Molina runs out front in the #71 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, ahead of the #97 Aston Martin Vantage AMR in the hands of Maxime Martin. Alessandro Pier Guidi holds third in the #51 Ferrari, ahead of the second Aston Martin in the hands of Marco Sorensen.

Aston Martin still leads in GTE Am, with the #98 Aston Martin Vantage AMR now in the hands of Paul Dalla Lana, ahead of TF Sport’s Salih Yoluc and Team Project 1’s Larry ten Voorde.
