An injury for Dustin Lineback, the jackman on the #88 Hendrick Motorsports team of driver Alex Bowman, has resulted in slight pit crew changes between the #88 team and Jimmie Johnson’s #48 HMS team ahead of Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the elimination race of the first round of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

Kyle Tudor, the jackman on the #48 team, will substitute for Lineback on the #88 team. Meanwhile, Eric Ludwig, a backup for HMS, will sub for Tudor on the #48 team.

Bowman is eighth in the driver points standings, heading into the Bristol race. He is 27 points ahead of Hendrick teammate William Bowman, the first driver in a provisional elimination spot.

Johnson failed to make the 2020 playoffs.
