DAMS driver Sean Gelael has been taken to hospital following an incident on the final lap of the FIA Formula 2 Feature Race on Saturday afternoon.
Gelael stopped on track on the final lap of the Feature Race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The Indonesian was immediately tended to by emergency and medical crews and was extracted from the vehicle.
He was then transferred by ambulance to the nearby Hospital General De Granollers for precautionary checks.
No official comment was made by championship organisers regarding the cause of the incident.
