Caca Bueno will start on pole position in the final race of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY after the Brazilian racer topped the timesheets in qualifying in Berlin.

In the opening stages of the session, it was present championship leader Sergio Jimenez who held the quickest time, although the Brazilian racer’s 1:36.013s run was quickly beaten by his team-mate.

With a 0.140s advantage at the front, Bueno again improved later in the session to produce a 1:35.774s lap around the new configuration of the Tempelhof track – a run that was worthy of his eighth pole position in the series.

Jimenez held the second-fastest time throughout, however, was beaten by his title rival in Simon Evans who fell short of Bueno by 0.181s for a place on the front row. The reigning champion meanwhile took third.

Nick Foster took the fourth-fastest time only 0.017s ahead of Alice Powell who completed the top five. She was trailed by Gregory Segers and Takuma Aoki who completed the Pro field in sixth and seventh.

Fahad Algosaibi’s dominance in Pro-Am continued when the Saudi racer took pole position in the sub-category in eighth overall ahead of Adalberto Baptista and W Series star Jessica Hawkins who forms one half of Jaguar’s VIP lineup.

Paul Spooner and Sven Forster completed the field, falling outside of the top 10.
