The Heart of Racing will return to the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship at the upcoming Road America after missing the previous two rounds.

The team’s #23 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 has been added to the entry list for the IMSA Road Race Showcase on August 2nd, with Roman de Angelis and Ian James listed as drivers.

James has taken the place of Alex Riberas, who was originally supposed to partner De Angelis for the full-season campaign.

The team made its return to IMSA at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, but was absent from the previous sprint rounds at Daytona and Sebring after the season resumed.

Alvaro Parente and Misha Goikhberg return to the line-up for the #57 Acura NSX GT3 Evo, while Mario Farnbacher partners Matt McMurry on board the #86 car.

In LMP2, Ben Hanley rejoins Henrik Hedman behind the wheel of the #81 Dragonspeed ORECA 07-Gibson after missing the previous round due to clashing European Le Mans Series commitments. Simon Trummer returns to the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson.

In DPi, Chris Miller returns to partner Tristan Vautier on board the #85 JDC-Miller Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson after Stephen Simpson partnered Vautier in the previous round.
