With four hours remaining in the Lone Star Le Mans, Gustavo Menezes leads for Rebellion Racing, having taken over from Bruno Senna who led from the start.

Senna took the green flag in the #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson and handed over to Menezes, who continues to lead ahead of the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Brendon Hartley, with Mike Conway third in the #7 Toyota.

Anders Fjordbach currently leads in LMP2 for High Class Racing after a frantic opening stint which saw several cars take to the front. Giedo van der Garde had a strong opening stint in the #29 Racing Team Nederland ORECA 07-Gibson and fought his way to the lead before handing over to gentleman driver Frits van Eerd.

Van Eerd was then quickly passed by the #36 Signatech Alpine A470-Gibson of Pierre Ragues, but regained the lead when the Frenchman suffered a spectacular brake failure. Van Eerd has since dropped to second as Anders Fjordbach moved up to the lead in the #33 High Class Racing ORECA despite a scary, high speed spin for the Dane which also involved the Corvette C8.R. Phil Hanson was leading for United Autosports, but pitted shortly before the two-hour mark.

Aston Martin continues to lead one-two in GTE Pro, with the #95 Aston Martin Vantage AMR leading at the hands of Nicki Thiim ahead of the #97 Vantage AMR of Alex Lynn and the #92 Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Michael Christensen in third. James Calado holds fourth in the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.

Team Project 1 continues to lead in GTE AM, courtesy of the #56 Porsche 911 RSR of Matteo Cairoli. Emmanuel Collard holds second in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo and the #86 Porsche 911 RSR of Gulf Racing’s Ben Barker.

An amusing side note from GTE Am: Charlie Eastwood was part of the mechanic crew for the #90 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage AMR earlier, as he is filling in for an unwell mechanic while he is not performing driving duties.
