The ABB FIA Formula E Championship will return to the BBC for its sixth season of competition, broadcast live on BBC online platforms.
Alongside watching all 14 races live and free-to-air online on the BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport website and select races on the BBC Red Button, fans will also be able to view February's Marrakesh E-Prix and April's Rome E-Prix on the BBC's network TV channels.
Formula E made its debut on the BBC during Season 5 when the Hong Kong E-Prix – Formula E's 50th race – was broadcast on BBC Two, attracting more than half a million viewers on all linear and digital platforms despite its early morning start time.
“We want the ABB FIA Formula E Championship to be accessible to the widest possible audience and with five British drivers on the grid, Formula E fans in the UK will need to choose who they are getting behind when racing returns to London in July next summer," said Jerome Hiquet, Chief Marketing Officer at the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.
"The British contingent may outnumber the other famous names in the field, but they face stiff competition with the arrival of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, as well as the current F2 champion Nyck De Vries choosing to join Formula E for the start of the new season.
“With 22 drivers separated by less than one second in pre-season testing, it is anyone’s guess who will come out on top in the first race on Friday next week. That is what makes Formula E so special to watch. Tune in to find out for yourself who the winner will be."
With its largest grid to date, the 2019/20 Formula E season will commence with a double-header round in Diriyah on November 22 and 23 while all races this season will continue to be broadcast on Eurosport with selected races on Quest.
