Sun Chao will partner Yaqi Zhang at Team China Racing in the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY’s second season of competition.
Remaining with the Chinese outfit, the 2019/20 campaign will mark Zhang’s second year in the fully-electric championship following an impressive debut campaign in which he took second in the Pro-Am championship, winning in Hong Kong, Monaco and Berlin.
"I am looking forward to returning for season two of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY to build on my podium finishes from last season," said Zhang.
"I am confident that Sun and I will form a strong partnership, bringing podiums and wins for the team."
Teaming up with Zhang, Chao will make his debut in the series later this month in Ad Diriyah and is excited for his first race in the series:
"I am very pleased to be joining the Jaguar China Racing team this season partnering with Yaqi," added Chao.
"I am looking forward to the first race in Saudi, and our home race in Sanya in March."
The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY's second season will commence with a double-header round in Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on November 22 and 23 while the series will also introduce Attack Mode following its implementation in Formula E last season.
