Pascal Wehrlein set the fastest time on the final morning of Formula E pre-season testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.
After taking a break on Thursday to perform media duties, the all-electric single-seater series returned on Friday for its final day of testing ahead of the first race of the season in Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
Wehrlein ended the three-hour session on top for Mahindra Racing, posting a 1m 15.190s lap to set the fastest time of the week, beating Robin Frijns' previous record that was set on Wednesday by 0.187s.
GEOX Dragon's Nico Mueller emerged as the German pilot's nearest challenger, with the Formula E rookie trailing Wehrlein by only 0.008s after posting a 1m 15.198s lap in the dying stages of the session.
Antonio Felix da Costa occupied third for DS Techeetah while Maximilian Gunther was fourth fastest for BMW i Andretti Motorsport with Season 2 champion Sebastien Buemi a further 0.032s adrift to complete the top five.
Alexander Sims was sixth in the second BMW iFE.20, causing the sole red flag of the session at its close after crashing in the chicane while Mitch Evans was seventh for Jaguar Racing.
Reigning Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne secured eighth in the morning, 0.290s down on Wehrlein while Felipe Massa and Sam Bird completed the top 10 for Venturi and Envision Virgin Racing.
Outside of the top 10, simulation race winner Stoffel Vandoorne was at the helm of new teams Mercedes EQ and Porsche, with the Belgian completing 39 laps en route to 15th while Andre Lotterer closely followed in 16th.
Nyck de Vries completed more running than any other driver in the penultimate session, touring the Ricardo Tormo Circuit on 54 occasions while Neel Jani in the second Porsche was 22nd as the final driver within one second of Wehrlein's pace.
NIO 333 once more completed the field, with Oliver Turvey heading Ma Qing Hua in 23rd.
