With one more hour to go at Motul Petit Le Mans, Filipe Albuquerque currently leads a Action Express one-two as the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-VR leads the #31 Whelen Engineering sister car of Pipo Derani.

Mazda Team Joest appeared to have the upper hand as the night fell at Road Atlanta, but the Cadillacs have picked up the pace again, with Albuquerque leading Derani and the #77 Mazda RT24-P of Oliver Jarvis, who has taken over from Timo Bernhard since the German came in from the lead.

Both Team Penske Acuras have fallen off the lead lap, with the #7 of Helio Castroneves leading the #6 of Juan Pablo Montoya, still in position to win the drivers title alongside Dane Cameron.

Victory plans for Ford in GTLM have been derailed as Alessandro Pier Guidi's #62 Risi Competizione Ferrari passed Richard Westbrook in the #67 Ford at the end of the eighth hour, taking the lead in class.

Pier Guidi has since handed over to James Calado, who still leads ahead of Ryan Briscoe, who has taken over from Westbrook. Tom Blomqvist holds third in the #25 BMW M8 GTE, with Earl Bamber en route to a drivers championship in fourth in the #912 Porsche 911 RSR.

The GTD seems to have swung into the favor of the #96 Turner Motorsports BMW M6 GT3, despite a scare for Robbie Foley in the past hour. Foley was leading when the #33 Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Felipe Fraga sideswiped the class leader off track at the Esses, thus handing the race lead to the #29 Montaplast by Land Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Chris Mies.

Foley and Bill Auberlen have since clawed back the advantage in the BMW and retook the lead at the turn of the hour after Mies pitted to hand over to Ricardo Feller. Scott Hargrove holds third in the #9 PFAFF Porsche 911 GT3 R.
