Anthoine Hubert has succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the FIA Formula 2 Championship Feature Race at Spa-Francorchamps.

Hubert was involved in a high-speed collision on the second lap of Saturday afternoon’s race and was struck by Sauber Junior Team by Charouz driver Juan Manuel Correa.

The race was immediately stopped and did not re-start.

Hubert, last year's GP3 champion and a member of the Renault F1 young driver scheme, was 22.
