Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports has confirmed Conor Daly will fill the #7 car for Marcus Ericsson as the Swede is on Formula 1 reserve duties.
Ericsson was released by the team for the weekend due to Alfa Romeo Racing requesting the Swede's attendance at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
Daly, who has been linked with the Arrow SPM team as they link up with McLaren and Chevrolet for 2020 will get the opportunity to drive for a third different team in the 2019 season.
The Indiana-born driver has previously driven for Andretti Autosport this season in the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500, he has also driven with Carlin for the oval races since the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway after Max Chilton pulled out of oval duties due to safety concerns.
Daly scored Carlin's best IndyCar result at the previous round in the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway with a sixth-place finish in the #59 Gallagher-Chevrolet.
The 27-year old will also see out the season once again with a return to Andretti Autosport for the NTT IndyCar season finale for the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at Laguna Seca.
Arrow SPM released the following statement: "Following a request from Alfa Romeo Racing for Marcus Ericsson to be on the ground at this weekend's Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix, Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports has granted Marcus a release of his driving duties for the NTT IndyCar Series race in Portland.
"Conor Daly will pilot the #7 Arrow SPM Honda at this weekend's Grand Prix of Portland."
