The FIA has released the first entry list for the 2019/2020 FIA World Endurance Championship.
The list contains 33 entries, with 8 in LMP1, LMP2 and GTE Pro, and eleven entries in GTE Am.
In LMP1, Toyota Gazoo Racing, SMP Racing and Rebellion Racing once again return with two cars, but they are set to be joined by Team LNT, which will run a pair of returning Ginetta G60-LT P1 AERs.
ByKolles has already confirmed it won't be making a full-time entry as it intends to focus its efforts on building a hypercar entry for the 2020/21 season, but hopes to compete in select European races.
LMP2 sees a host of new teams appearing on the entry list. United Autosports will be running a Ligier JSP217-Gibson, while High Class Racing and COOL Racing both appear with an Oreca 07 Gibson. Cetilar Racing will be taking part with a Dallara P217-Gibson, while JOTA will now be running one Oreca entry under their own banner. Racing Team Nederland will also be entering with an Oreca, making the switch from Dallara.
In GTE Pro, Porsche, Ferrari and Aston Martin will each be entering two cars, following the departure of both BMW and Ford.
Finally, GTE Am sees AF Corse running two Ferrari 488 GTE Evos in the privateer category, while Team Project 1 fields a second Porsche 911 RSR. Red River Sport will be making their WEC debut, also in a Ferrari, while both Aston Martin Racing and TF Sport switch to the new Aston Martin Vantage AMR, which is set to make its debut in privateer hands.
