Pirelli has confirmed that three teams will assist with its initial preparations for Formula 1’s switch to 18-inch wheel rims for 2021.

Formula 1 will move from the current 13-inch specifications to 18-inch rubber as part of the raft of sporting and technical regulation changes planned for 2021.

During the FIA press conference on Friday Pirelli chief Mario Isola revealed that Mercedes, McLaren and Renault will supply modified 2018 cars for three separate test sessions.
