The TOTAL Six Hours of Spa-Franchorchamps has reached its halfway point, and Kazuki Nakajima leads after the #7 Toyota of Kamui Kobayashi suffered an electronics issue late in the third hour.

Nakajima took over from Alonso, who had a noticeable moment when he spun at Pouhon in the same hour. He now leads comfortably ahead of Gustavo Menezes in the #3 Rebellion and the #11 SMP Racing BR Engineering BR-AER1 of Vitaly Petrov

The race saw an early weather-induced safety car early on after heavy snowfall hit the track.

ByKolles is currently 34 laps down after a collision with the #37 ORECA of Jordan King put him in the wall at the approach to La Source.

In LMP2, Racing Team Nederland surged into the lead early on, but is now last in class after Frits van Eerd put Nicki Thiim in the wall in a very similar manner to Jordan King's infraction and subsequently got a two minute stop and go penalty.

Signatech Alpine Matmut currently leads, with Pierre Thieriet having a sizeable lead over Ho Pin Tung in the #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA. G-Drive, at the hands of Job van Uitert, holds third.

The battle in GTE Pro is as tight as ever, with the #97 Aston Martin of Alex Lynn currently leading ahead of Ferrari's Davide Rigon and Porsche's Richard Lietz, who was leading before being passed by both Lynn and Rigon.

In GTE Am, Matteo Cressoni leads in the Clearwater Racing Ferrari, despite a collision with Dempsey Proton's Gianluca Roda, which left the #88 Porsche stranded at Malmedy. Cressoni was not penalized for the collision, and now leads ahead of Patrick Lindsey in the Project 1 Porsche and Aston Martin Racing's Paul Dalla Lana, who is still chasing a fifth consecutive WEC win at Spa.
