The Pramac MotoGP squad will run Automobili Lamborghini decals on its bikes at this weekend's Grand Prix of the Americas, as the Italian car brand takes over as title sponsor.
The satellite Ducati squad was sponsored by Alma last season and for the Qatar race, though this branding was removed for the Argentine Grand Prix due to a legal case brought against Alma's owner Luigi Scavone.
Scavone was arrested in March, with Italian media reporting charges have been brought against him for tax evasion.
Ties between Pramac and Lamborghini have strengthened since last year's Italian Grand Prix, where Jack Miller and Danilo Petrucci's Desmosedici's were decked out in a one-off yellow and black livery to celebrate the two companies' partnership.
The current Pramac livery was also designed by Lamborghini's Mitja Borket, featuring the team's now familiar red, blue and white colours in the luxury car brand's famous ypsilon design.
“Running a grand prix as important as the United States, with the Lamborghini logo next to the Pramac one on our fairing, is a source of great satisfaction for us,” Pramac boss Paolo Campinoti said.
“We are proud to have Automobili Lamborghini as title sponsor of the Grand Prix of the Americas and this underlines that the relationship between Lamborghini and Pramac goes beyond the feeling of deep friendship that binds me to [Lamborghini CEO] Stefano Domenicali.”
Miller currently sits eighth in the MotoGP standings with 13 points, after taking fourth last time out in Argentina.
This came three weeks after the Australian was forced to retire from the Qatar season-opener when his seat unit detached on the second lap.
Rookie team-mate Francesco Bagnaia also had to pull out of the first round, but scored points in Argentina with a 14th-place finish, moving him into 18th in the standings.
