Mercedes has teased fans with what appears to be a radical new livery for its upcoming Formula 1 car.
The reigning champions have traditionally used a shade of grey or silver and are often referred to as the 'Silver Arrows', but a post on the team's social media account showed off a front-wing painted in an abstract pattern of blue, green and black with the message "Silver is so last season".
It's likely the livery will simply be test-only livery, following in the footsteps of Red Bull, which in 2015 shocked fans when it rolled out of the garage during pre-season testing sporting a black and white 'camo' livery, which was followed up last year with a blue and black version.
Test liveries are by no means unusual. Several teams have used them in the past, with McLaren famously running a papaya orange colour scheme on its MP4-12 and MP4-21.
Mercedes is due to unveil its W10 on February 13 at Silverstone, five days prior to the opening pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
