After sitting out the first two days of Formula E pre-season testing ahead of the start of the 2018/19 campaign, Alexander Albon will be replaced by Oliver Rowland for the third and final test day at Nissan e.dams.
Albon, who was confirmed as Sebastien Buemi's team-mate at Nissan e.dams for Season Five in September, was due to test the team's Gen2 machinery this week at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.
But he has not taken to the circuit amid ongoing contractual discussions after being linked to a 2019 drive with Toro Rosso in Formula 1 to replace Brendon Hartley.
Rowland, who finished in third place with DAMS in the Formula 2 Drivers' Championship last season, will pilot the #22 Nissan e.dams machine on the final day of testing alongside Buemi.
The British driver previously raced for Mahindra in Season Two at the Punta del Este E-Prix, standing in for Nick Heidfeld where he finished 13th in the race.
Pre-season testing will conclude at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit today in wet conditions where BMW i Andretti Motorsport's Antonio Felix da Costa currently holds the fastest lap of the week.
