Some of the most talented youngsters in the world of motorsport make up a capacity grid for the world-famous Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix on November 15-18.
Aside from being the gambling capital of the world, Macau is home to one of the most fierce street circuits in the world where young talent goes to prove they can tackle the 6.12km circuit.
The 2018 grid will be filled with the majority of the European F3 field including Drivers' Champion Mick Schumacher, runner-up Daniel Ticktum and rookie champion Robert Shwartzman, while the All-Japan F3 attack will be led by its dominant 2018 Champion Tsuboi Sho.
Mick Schumacher could become the third member of his family to win the famous race after his father Michael won the 1990 event and Uncle Ralf claimed victory in 1995.
Sacha Fenestraz won at Pau earlier in the year, another famous street course renowned for its challenges which should put the Frenchman into a good position to be competitive.
Ferrari-backed Callum Ilott will return to F3 machinery with Carlin to try and tackle the famous race for a third time after failing to finish in 2015 and coming fifth in 2016.
German Formula 4 graduate Sophia Floersch will get to tackle the Guia circuit for the first time after moving to Euro F3 mid-season with Van Amersfoort Racing.
Multiple champions TOM’s and its dominant All-Japan F3 pairing of Sho and Ritomo Miyata will be a formidable pairing on the grid. Sho won 14 of the 16 races in Japanese F3 whilst team-mate Miyata triumphed in the other two.
Ticktum was the winner of the marquee event in 2017 in spectacular circumstances after the two cars in front of him crashed at the final corner.
Ferdinand Habsburg and Sergio Sette Camara battled for the lead until both cars hit the wall in separate accidents, leaving the British driver to take the victory from Lando Norris and Ralf Aron with Habsburg in fourth place still on three wheels as he powered to the line.
Riccardo Patrese, Ayrton Senna, David Coulthard, Takuma Sato, Lucas di Grassi, Edoardo Mortara and Felix Rosenqvist are just some of the historic names who have all won the Macau Grand Prix.
As an extra incentive moving forward, the winner of the race will receive five points towards a Formula 1 superlicence.
