MotoGP has taken the decision to delay Saturday's qualifying session for the British Grand Prix by 25 minutes after heavy rain fell during FP4.
The final practice session was red-flagged after Alex Rins went off at Turn 7. He was followed by three other riders including Aleix Espargaro, Tito Rabat and Franco Morbidelli.
Rabat was struck by Morbidelli's Marc VDS bike as he was walking away from his own bike and thrown several metre's.
The stewards red-flagged the session immediately as medical crews attended to the Avintia rider.
Rabat's condition is unknown, though officials confirmed he was conscious and being transferred to a local hopsital having sustained "multiple injuries".
