Ferrari junior Callum Ilott claimed his maiden GP3 Series victory in the second race of the weekend at Paul Ricard.
Ilott relinquished his pole position advantage at the start after Trident’s Pedro Piquet went around the outside at the second part of the Verrerie S.
Ilott, though, recaptured the lead further around the opening lap and preserved his position throughout, building a two-second gap to Piquet to take his first win in the division.
Piquet and Arden’s Joey Mawson maintained second and third spots to pick up their respective first podiums in the category.
Alessio Lorandi headed a train of cars in fourth position, with Nikita Mazepin overhauling Giuliano Alesi for fifth, the pair scrapping until the chequered flag.
Points leader Anthoine Hubert lost ground at the start but regrouped and finished seventh, while Leonardo Pulcini kept Ryan Tveter at bay to grab the final point.
