Roberto Mehri has been stripped of his third-place finish for MP Motorsport in the feature race due to all four tyres failing to meet minimum pressures set by Pirelli.
The Spaniard had a superb start to the race and made his way through the pack in the early stages of the race as the rain came down causing chaos amongst the pack.
Due to the result, Luca Ghiotto inherits the third-place finish behind the Carlin of Sergio Sette Camara after a race filled with drama for Campos Racing.
Tadasuke Makino will now also inherit reverse grid pole for the sprint race after originally losing eighth-place to the DAMS of Nicholas Latifi on the last lap in a superb dual.
Haas junior driver Arjun Maini also inherits tenth-place scoring one point.
