Dragon Racing announce partnership with Rolling Stone magazine

Jay Penske's Dragon Racing squad has announced a new partnership with media brand Rolling Stone ahead of next month's Zurich E-Prix in Switzerland.

The partnership, which will see the publication's logo appear on both sides of the driver's cockpit, aligns with Dragon's ethos as a revolutionary outfit in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

The addition of the Rolling Stone logo coincides with the Penske Media Corporation's – where Jay Penske is the chairman and CEO – recent investment in Wenner Media which is the majority owner of the iconic American bi-weekly publication.

“By bringing Rolling Stone into Formula E, Dragon has added another strong ally to bolster the team’s formidable marketing and business development capabilities,” said Jay Penske, owner of Dragon Racing.

"Rolling Stone’s unparalleled access to the music and entertainment industry, along with its world-class live events and video content, bring an expertise the team is eager to incorporate into our Formula E program."

With a monthly audience of nearly 60 million people, this deal has been done in anticipation of high exposure from the brand which will allow Dragon to increase awareness for sustainability and new emission-free technologies.

“Rolling Stone is thrilled to help brands involved with the team and the championship tell their stories,” added Gus Wenner, President and CEO of Wenner Media.

“This partnership is a natural fit with Rolling Stone’s longstanding commitment to chronicling the culture of our times.”
