Campos has confirmed that Roy Nissany will compete for the team in Formula 2 this season.
Nissany, son of occasional Minardi tester Chanoch, has spent the last three years in Formula V8 3.5, taking four wins overall, and a best of fourth in the 2016 standings.
Nissany sampled the new F2/18 machine during testing at Paul Ricard and Sakhir and has now been confirmed as the occupant of the No. 15 car.
“I’m thrilled to be racing with Campos in Formula 2,” said Nissany, who will partner Luca Ghiotto.
“From my short experience with the team I have already felt a great bond, both with the people and the car.
“We are already working on the first race’s preparations, and I am confident we can develop ourselves in synergy and reach our goals.”
Confirmation of Nissany’s presence on the grid means that 17 of this year’s 20 drivers have now been announced ahead of next weekend’s season opener in Bahrain.
DAMS is poised to field Force India tester Nicholas Latifi for a third straight season, alongside ex-ART driver Alexander Albon, while 2015 Manor F1 racer Roberto Merhi is set to link up with MP Motorsport.
