Mike Conway has agreed a new "multi-year" deal with Toyota Gazoo Racing and will therefore contest the upcoming World Endurance Championship 'Super Season' alongside Kamui Kobayashi and José María López.

The British racer first joined the team in 2014 as test and reserve driver alongside IndyCar duties and in only his second race for the team, having been called up to replace Kazuki Nakajima, claimed the victory alongside team-mates Alexander Wurz and Stéphane Sarrazin.

Conway made his full-time debut the following season, finishing sixth overall. His most successful season followed in 2016 as he, partnered with Kobayashi and Sarrazin, finished 3rd in the Driver’s Championship – including six podiums from nine races and an outright victory at the 6 Hours of Fuji.

This year will see Conway contest the 'Super Season' which runs through 2018 and 2019 and will include two trips to the infamous Le Mans.

"I’m really pleased to re-sign with Toyota, we’ve had a fantastic few years working together and I look forward to continuing this relationship as we embark on the Super Season.

"After the withdrawal of Porsche at the end of 2017, it’s great to see the LMP1 category attracting so much attention from privateers so we should have some thrilling races coming up over the next two years."
